"Black, what in Merlin's name is that?" Severus stood at the foot of their bed, pointing at the black fur-ball currently nestled between the sheets.

Sirius was just undoing the buttons of his shirt and turned to the offending...puppy? They didn't have a puppy in the morning when he was leaving their quarters; he would have realized that. Murmuring something that sounded like 'a dog', the animagus inched closer to the sleeping animal.

"I'm not blind. But how did we end up with a dog sleeping in our bed? Or rather, how did I end up with another one..." Smirk firmly in place, Severus lowered himself to the bed next to the small pup. "There's only one person who could think this remotely funny. I'll really poison his potion this time."

Sirius had by now taken hold of the black dog, and took a look at his collar. Oh, Remus would pay for this one. There, for the entire world to see, was the puppy's name...Snuffles. Turning to face his lover, eyes turning to slits, he remarked dryly, "You know, I think I'll help you. But we also have to get back at Harry. Remy doesn’t know of this nickname..."

"The Golden Boy?" A low and dangerous chuckle followed the exclamation, "The Heir of Godric Gryffindor and his pet-wolf. Oh, I'm sure I'll find something to make them pay for this." Reaching for Snuffles, he gently patted his head. "But I think I'll keep him. At least one decent dog in the dungeons..."

"Decent indeed." With that, Sirius grabbed the collar of Severus' robes, drawing him in for a fierce kiss. Oh, he would show old 'Snivellus' how very indecent he could be!
